Project/Program Manager

The Port of Lake Charles is searching for a project/program manager to plan, manage and implement a preventative and predictive maintenance system/process for the company’s facilities. Duties of this position will include developing, recommending and executing maintenance and capital projects.

The Manager will report directly to the Port’s Director of Engineering, Maintenance and Development. Experience in scoping, planning and scheduling maintenance for rotating and electrical equipment in bulk handling facilities will be key considerations in the selection process. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience with preventive maintenance and the repair of conveying systems, rotating mechanical equipment and programmable logic controllers in an industrial setting or a mechanical/industrial engineering degree with a minimum 3 years of experience. Scheduling software experience such as Primavera is critical.
